Environmental preservation is a fundamental concern in the Group’s production processes. All Units are equipped with ETARI Systems that allow the return of treated water to the extraction lagoons with minimal environmental impact, ensuring a harmonious coexistence between industry and the environment.

ALCÁCER DO SAL UNIT

The Alcácer do Sal unit is located between the Southern railway line and National Road 120/IC 1 (Algarve).

The company is geared towards providing specialized silica sands to the external market and, their privileged location allows for the transportation of materials not only by road but also by sea, utilizing the Setubal and Sines Terminal.

In addition, the development of a dedicated railway terminal with a connection to the Southern railway line is scheduled to improve logistics and transportation efficiency.

MOSTEIROS UNIT

The Mosteiros Unit is located in the municipality of Santarém.

This unit is equipped for the extraction and processing of kaolin using the most advanced technological methods.

The unit is responsible also produces washed pebbles for many markets.
